Her body was found floating few meters away
from where she had jumped off the bridge into the river on the afternoon of May 29th. The police
department’s Harbor Unit and Riverside Drive
fished her out of the water. She was declared dead by emergency medical service officials.
Reports say Omotayo decided to take her own life after she was caught cheating during a difficulty German Language examination by her teacher at the high school of Math, Science and Engineering in Manhattan. She was reportedly brought out and disgraced in front of her peers. Supposedly ashamed of her actions and the humiliating consequence, she immediately left school with the intention of killing herself and also left a suicide note behind which read "I just want to go away forever on the bottom of the river.”.

The motto of my high school is " not for school but for life" this means that we are trained not only for our today but for our tomorrow so that we can also train our children when we become parents to be good and honest people who will make us proud where ever they go.
